Might as well move in and claim squatters rights. Just think, the whole lot of those fine things could be yours!

Bingo, call the cops and get it secured before some punk grabs it and does something illegal or sad with it...

Does not work, says the video is "unlisted"...

Not sure why you haven't called the cops yet.

You ABSOLUTELY have to take that deer head for the PPOT christmas gift exchange.

Damn... two ounces? You must have some smart cops out there.

My first college apartment looked kinda' like that. Minus the deer head and the sawed-off, and with considerably more beer cans.

What a mess.

I would have taken the gun. Could always use another cold. steel rail - good on the Zombies too...

Brando 11-14-2011 12:48 PM

Have you reported it yet? If not, why?

Not trying to be demeaning, just wondering why you decided to/not to...

Allow me to remind folks this is a public forum. Someone may be on the verge of stealing an illegal weapon that may have been used in a crime of some sort. Let's say probably. And that weapon might be destroyed or at a minimum, not used as evidence.

And let's say that weapon was used to kill or injure someone or used in a violent crime? What duty do forum participants have if this weapon was needed to convict the perp?

^ this. Seems like a pretty easy decision to me.

All right, here is where I am at with this. At first sight of the gun, My initial thought was , " that would make a bad ass home defender" , and I was just going to take it home and hide it. I'm old and wiser now. Then I went to , just put it back in the bag, on the floor, and pretend I never saw it. But honestly, I like this neighborhood, I have money invested there, and I work there on a regular basis. Make no mistakes, there are shootings in this area. It is not a real bad area, but the bad areas are not far. This gun could very well have been used in a previous crime, and honestly , if I did nothing, every shooting I saw in the news, I would be wondering if it was comitted with this gun.
I used the city's crime website and sent in a tip, and plan on calling it in as well. My partner and I will also start our weekly barrage of complaints to have this house torn down.
I hope the local bad guys didn't see me go in their hideout. It was real early in the am, and there is real good cover to the back door, so it is pretty unlikely, but I was also had to think about my own safety, I am always in the area, and I am quite sure they don't know my name, but know who I am.

Ballistics on a sawed off are pretty tough but you say you picked it up? Dude! Now your prints are on it! Tell me you were wearing work gloves at least?

ok......i'm with you now. make the call.

911pcars 11-14-2011 01:47 PM

This could be a pretty good start to a film screenplay - e.g. a political thriller.

Hope it turns out well...... unless Scorsese, Tarentino or Cronenburg happen to direct it.

We wiped the gun down real well after we got done posting our best gangsta poses with it to my facebook account.

targa911S 11-14-2011 01:55 PM

By the way, from what I could see, it looks to be a Huglu shotgun. Not a big loss to the double shotgun world.
