Going to Ottawa on 11/22
 

Going to Ottawa on 11/22 for one night and a meeting the next day. We'll be staying at the Minto Hotel in Ottawa. The meeting location is literally across the street from the Parliament bldg, according to Google Maps. Anyone know a good local restaurant? Thanks!

I stayed there 2 years ago. It's not literally right across the street, but it's an easy walk. If you get a chance, the parliament building tour is quite interesting.

The restaurant in the hotel is actually pretty good - apparently they grill a mean steak, but I didn't try it myself. What kind of food are you looking for?

Thanks! What I meant to say is that the company that is hosting the meeting is located very very close to the Parliament Bldg, not the hotel. We'll be looking for seafood, since I don't eat red meat (medical reasons)... Thanks again!

Can't help you with food, then - I'm not much of a seafood eater! Sorry! Enjoy the trip - Ottawa is a beautiful city. Lots to do, if you have time, whatever your thing may be.
