Auto Train FL to VA

Has anyone here ever taken it?

Is it safe for the car? I am considering it for the trip back to PA from FL later this week. Anything else I should worry about?

Doing it for the experience. I can get mostly home and sleep instead of drive.

I've had lots of friends take it to Daytona for the rod run. They all liked it ,but did say it takes a long time to get there due to all the stops. Cars were all loaded & unloaded with no problems or damage.

Stops for what? It's point to point. Or should be. Or used to be.

Autotrain

I relocated from Southern Georgia to Baltimore and used the autotrain to transport my 930. It was great. I would recommend getting an upgraded seat or cabin. I took the whole family in a cabin an they had a blast. I took it on another occasion and road coach. Coach was not conducive to sleeping comfortably.

The whole experience is a bit utilitarian, but worth doing at least once. The car faired well and it was certainly cheaper than a professional car transport service.
