Joe, They traded Hodgson
I can't believe it,
I'm in shock, they traded Cody Hodgson, one of the most promising rookies in the league. This is right up with Harry Neale trading Cam Neely to the Bruins. Mike Gilles should be shot that bastage.![]() Finn

Yep, this one made me scratch my head...... But then again, I am not a GM of a NHL team.

I have very mixed feelings about the trade. It could turn out to be one of those 'karmic' things & may come back to haunt Vancouver. I recall when Pat Quinn was the GM & traded Alex Stojanov to the Pittsburgh Penguins (a team with an excess of good centers, but desired some toughness to protect Lemieux & Jagr) for a 'promising center' named Markus Naslund. The rest, as they say, was history. It turned out to be one of the more lop-sided trades in recent memory. Could it be, Vancouver, a team with depth at the center position, trading a very 'promising center' for some 'sandpaper', may end up regretting the move in the long term? Like I said, I dunno...
Cheers JB
