Lubey where did you grab those charts?

Was wondering where my post went and accidentally posted in the "Tater Tots" thread. Oh well, we do love our Tater Tots in Fillmore!
ADVANTAGESFillmore is a small valley town in Northern Ventura County just below the San Cayetano Mountain peak in the Los Padres National Forest. Fillmore is located in the Santa Clara River Valley. Fillmore is also located within an historic Ventura County agricultural and tree-farming belt. Educational facilities include one high school, one middle school, and 5 elementary schools. Sespe Condor Sanctuary, where the critically endangered California Condor are recovering, lies to the north. The nearby Sespe Creek is a tributary of the Santa Clara River. It is primarily served by State Highways 126 and 23.

Fillmore has a classic "turn of the century" downtown architecture, a one-screen theater (the Fillmore Towne Theatre), a historic train depot (the Fillmore and Western Railway), a much photographed city hall, and many unique shops and businesses, including a local winery operation. It is home to Elkins Ranch Golf Course. The small farming community of Bardsdale is located about three miles (5 km) from Fillmore, directly across the Santa Clara River. Also located nearby are a fish hatchery and the Sespe Creek and Sespe Wilderness, home to the California Condor Sespe sanctuary.

Because of its preserved downtown, Fillmore is a popular filming location for television and movies. The January 4, 2007, episode of CSI entitled Leaving Las Vegas prominently featured old-town Fillmore as the fictional town of "Larkston, Nevada". Parts of the television series Jericho and Big Love are also filmed there.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1321395993.jpg

Not my tree, but I have a HUGE tree that puts out 200-300 Fuerte avacados a year. It's an old one with a 30' canopy. Also an old lemon tree that puts out all year long. I'm always giving away lemons and avacados (winter/spring) at work.

vash 11-15-2011 02:24 PM

my avocado (hass) is about 3 feet tall. i have a long way to go. the vietnamese lady living behind me is salivating. i did plant the tree too close to the fence. i bet she will get to 40% of the tree once it takes off..whatever. i'll BB gun her.

vash 11-15-2011 02:25 PM

Toronto, Canada

Adv The most multi-cultural city in North America. You want it, you can find it.
Dis They can’t drive.
Adv No real estate crash in 2008.
Dis Good luck if you are a new home buyer – avg is $475K or so.
Adv We’re Canadian, eh.
Dis In Toronto, most of us aren’t – see 1st advantage.
Adv We have at least 15 days a year when it is not too hot, not too cold, not too humid.
Adv Free health care.
Dis Medium high taxes to pay for it.
Adv You can be 99.9% sure that that SUV driver you gave the finger to doesn’t have a gun in his glovebox.

Honestly, I have visited all 10 provinces in Canada & at least 42 states in the US. I can’t find any place that is better when you balance it all out.

(PS Edmonton is really, really cold in the winter)
