Music Guys: Just One Reason To Pledge PBS
Love PBS, have been a member with a few stations here along with radio ( jazz and KCSN). Just having Austin City Limits makes it worthwhile. This will be in December on Songmasters, great musicians and should be a good show. (Superman, Nostatic, Targa911S, all bass players take notice, Leland Sklar).

Pledging support to PBS??? Are you trying to get this kicked to PARF?
Have been supporting PBS for 30+ years. Some of the best broadcasting on TV comes from BBS programs shown only on PBS.

I got to see a lot of them live in the day, but not Valens, Holly or the "Big Bopper."
But unless you've seen the likes of Little Richard or even Johnny Otis (same show) live, you just didn't know. My wife (not then) was one of the ones kissed by Elvis in Vegas. I didn't see him live either. |

love pbs
ive had iphones for a while but only just descovered the PBS app a few weeks back.. i put it on my new phone and i absolutely love it. i have a lot of streaming media on my phone but PBS is one of the best. not only can i see my local schedule, but the amount of content on their to watch is amazing. my only complaint is that there are no charlie rose vids and the austin city limits video is limited to edited down songs instead of the whole shows. otherwise, check it out..been watching american masters, nature, ,frontline etc... on my phone for free..how cool is that! |

Giving money to PBS is pretty much the same as giving it to the DNC.
I won't do either. |

Love Austin City Limits. Does anybody know if there is any way to get copies of their shows (legally)? They don't sell them, and there are several folks I have seen that turned in amazing performances I'd like my own copies of.

Not having Satellite, we watch PBS quite a bit. We give to the local affiliate every year.

Isn't this the same network that gives us "Celtic Thunder"?
