just for information and i have no affiliation. seems lots of folks on this board rave about the Unimog. it is listed on the greenville sc craigslist...65 Unimog 9000 dollars. i dont know how to post the link!

1965 MERCEDES BENZ UNIMOG 404.1 HARD CAB 4X4

I'd love to have one, if I had someplace to park it. This one has just a flat bed - no cabinet/side panels, which I would think makes it less interesting/useable.

I suppose we'll get the good or bad recommendation when Vonsmog sees it.

Well $9k for a 404 it better be perfect. These are nice trucks, but are apples to oranges compared to the diesel mogs. Here is my latest Craig's list buy this week. (the red one) will just be a parts truck. And the Silver one is one I just got two weeks ago. Just needs a little TLC, as it has been sitting for the last two years.
