Happy Thanksgiving!
 

Happy Thanksgiving to all pelicans. I hope Thanksgiving turns out to be what you want.
I have alot to be thankful for this year. Last week a tornado hit my daughter's high school. The tornado messed up the football, baseball, tennis areas, ripped the roof off of smaller buildings but didn't "open up" the high school itself. If the tornado had been 500 feet to the North or a little stronger, who knows. As a firefighter, the parking lot and areas around the school looked like a debris field, but by the grace of God, no one was injured.

Indeed the hand of protection was there.

I thank God for every blessing I have. Let us be especially grateful to him this Thanksgiving for the blessings we enjoy with freedom, family, and in our service to others. Please remember our servicemen who cannot be with their families this Thanksgiving because they are protecting our interests overseas.
