That is stupid, but I think they banned that claim to be printed on bottled water because there is nothing in bottled water that prevents dehydration better than tap water.

But its the EU.

Water sales could have a negative impact on beer and wine sales!

Just saying

The simple statement that water does not prevent dehydration is just crazy. It is like saying gravity does not cause people to fall down. Why any bottler needs or wants to put it on a bottle of water is just as silly as the EU governments prohibiting the statement.
