I'm confused.....how can you make an insurance claim on a car that you insured after the mishap?

Before I flew 500 miles to inspect/pick up my 911 years ago then drive her home, I called my agent to ask the proper procedure. He told me to take a plate from an existing car and call him with the VIN and specifics when I got home as I was covered under my policy when I took possession. May vary from state to state but that's how it's done here. If I had gotten pulled with a plate from another car, the bill-of-sale, etc. was my "proof" of ownership according to him.

Damage does not look too bad.

What sort of power does that thing put out?

most insurers will cover you on any car you buy for a period of time ranging from 5-30 days.

as far as power, I am thinking about 325-335 HP to the wheels. My old black M3 put down right at 300 and had about 1/2 the boost. (5.5 vs. 11).
