Yep, his widow (Ingrid) died this week, too. I've been listening to a lot of Weather Report lately as I love Zawinul and Pastorius. "Mercy, Mercy" is my fave!!

What a shame. I was living in Ft. Lauderdale when he was killed on Sept. 21, 1987 I can't remember what bar he was killed in front of, too much time has passed. I think it's up in Pompano on Fed 1 or A1A, a building has a huge mural dedicated to him on the side of it. Nice memorial. Fritz
