Must do Resturaunts in Beaver Creek Co?
The Mrs. and I are heading to Beaver Creek on Saturday with a another couple. Stopping in Aspen to see Hell's Belles on Saturday night then heading to our condo(Charity auction score) at St James Place in Beaver creek. Looking for any must do places for dinner. Don't need super high dollar deluxe joints as I am sure there are plenty of those and they will be easy to find. Looking for a cool spot to have a relaxing dinner with a couple of bottles of wine and good food.
Any suggestions would be appreciated. If there is any other interesting things to do beside ski those would be good to know about as well. TIA Justin |
Please remember it has been about 20 years since I was up that way but there was this really nice little French place on the south side of the backroad heading out of Vail, not on the main highway. Reasonable prices, VERY good trout and escargot. It was a little white bistro that ran lengthwise on the side of the road. Chef stayed out and spent maybe an hour talking with my Mother (we were there at an off time and she let us in) the first time we went.

Beano's Cabin in Beaver Creek. It very Cool, Sleigh ride or snow cat it to it.

+1 for Beanos, probably catch some celebs dining there as well. Also there is ice skating near the town center day and night, snow machines a short trip to Leadville. You can visit "Beaver Liquors" however it's just a normal liquor store that sells a cool t-shirt.
Probably want to catch the bus over to Vail for some "walking around" type activities as Avon is more laid back. My condo is at Falcon Point overlooking the lake, but I rarely use it anymore, St James is very nice. |
Go to Pazzo's Pizza in Vail. I go there whenever I'm in Vail.
