Depends. There are apps where if you put in the tempo or link to a recording file it will automatically follow with the page changes. I don't do that as most of my charts are thankfully only 1 or 2 pages. What I am going to get is this though:

Yes

Yes. In my business you are the odd person if you don't have and use one. But that said I work in Advertising where simply perception of how intergrated you are can be the difference between wining a bid and loosing it.
Its a not a Laptop but a fantastic presentation, reference and note making tool.

Yeah, I have one. We use at the office for elec. Medical records.
But...the thing is difficult to use for anything other than taking notes, checking email, surfing pelican, I find it very awkward to use. You can find apps and work arounds for things a laptop does easily. But I often end up putting it down and going to a "real" computer.

we just got brand new ipad2's at work and they are great for what we use them for, but certainly do not replace a pc based platform, like a laptop, etc, that i need to use when i travel, so i have to bring both.

The ipads actually replaced old notebook type setups we had and the ipads on FAR superior for our job. We use them for flight plannng, weather, and viewing airport charts, approach plates, etc..

Yes all the time, i can create a presentation on the ipad or mac, sync it to icloud go to a client site and do a presentation in Keynote on their projector or tv, the cool thing is your finger becomes a laser pointer on the screen. Onenote is another great app that sync, but it's only available for the ipad in the U.S.

I use pages for documents and reports, things for reminders and to do lists, keynote for presenations, citrix, anyconnect vpn, webex (camera works), clearsea for video conferencing, Cisco jabber for im, and all the network goodies.

Yes I use it for work...just wish work paid for it! Very good replacement for my old netbook, on the road 90% of the time so it's a quick at checking email and online research. Battery life is incredible.
