I worked for a place in Texas that ran this gambit. The "random pool" gave them a pretty good feedback!

Jump ahead a few months and Texas Monthly was doing their best employers in the state survey. Hey, a truly random opportunity to tell the truth! Yep, they finished ALMOST at the bottom of the list and were published (embarrassingly) by Texas Monthly. Became harder to hire good people after that fiasco...

Hi, this is the girlfriend. The survey is called the Q12 employee engagement survey by Gallup. Our department is small and over half of us responded negatively to questions like "I know what is expected of me at work." We were hoping to get the attention of upper management since we can't talk to our new manger or supervisor. I guess everybody should have continued to lie. Too late now :(
