Are you sure?, 'cause it doesn't say "official" in your title, so this can't be the right place

Merry Christmas

What if we don't celebrate Christmas? Can we open them early? I'm good until tomorrow night, then I honor the German way and open on the eve.

We are...it's just this way we have a day or two up here so people don't start posting in The OFFICIAL thread. As I recall last year, 1 was started a little later, so we had results posted in 2 places.

If you do not celebrate Christmas then you should not be in the Christmas Gift Exchange!

Actually you are correct on one thing, the Europeans usually celebrate it on Christmas Eve, tonight.

Open on Christmas Eve here, and I think anyone should be welcome on the exchange. It's to celebrate a coming together, no haters though..

Okay, I'll start...opened on Christamas eve. From one who chose to remain anonymous, return addy simply "Secret Santa, Socal". Pretty cool memrobelia item, a dealership 1973 911 sales brochure, with a specification chart. Same mechanicals as '72. How did I know it was '73? One of the cars pictured had the "Carol Doda" rubber bumpers unique to that year.

So, Thanks Santa...I do plan on passing this on to Evren.

We've got a tradition in our family - everyone gets to open 1 Christmas package on the eve when we come home from candlelight service. This year and last - the Pelican gift has been my choice. My gift(s) was courtesy of FastFredRacing - and I scored big time!

The previously pictured box with Porsche pictures with a card sent addressed to "MBAtarga and family" - and I think there's something in here for all in the family to enjoy: The Gold Plated Porsche written by our own Stephen Wilkinson, Porsche Supercars softcover book, a Porsche (History of) VHS tape, a Pelican Parts purchased Lug Nut Soft Socket, a handy Craftsman pocket knife which uses miniature utility blade refills, a Mahle OC54 Oil Filter, a Cinnabun scented candle, a nice bottle of red wine, a Porsche Targa Model.

Thanks Fred!

Wow, I hope everyone's gift is not supposed to measure up to that.

Didn't really open ours. It was sent as a postcard, a wooden, homemade gift that we hung proudly on our tree. See if you can recognize the ornament on the tree.

Don't worry - like my dad always used to tell me: "son, you're not useless...you can always serve as a bad example."

I thought I was going to get to open mine early but my wife came home with her brother and the decision was made, we were going to see TRUE GRIT. So the movie started at 4, we saw that and came home. I cooked Lobster dinner and opened the wine and champaign, we ate, put away the junk and opened the presents. I got some great Porsche stuff, I love this stuff, the Monterey Historic races book, I love the old cars, The Porsche booklet, the racing book, the belt buckle, I mean this is stuff I love. Thank you Mike Foudy, I do love these. Don't know the alias on the board.
Merry Christmas everyone.
