funny. my wife called and i can hear my 911 idling in the background.
wish us luck. wife wants to drive "mighty whitey" to school.
she teases me. she says today qualifies as a 911 day. weather is not to hot, not to cold, not rainy, not windy........... at least she knows to warm it up to avoid that lumpy CIS idle.

I did that once. Three weeks later she calls from a car lot and says "honey, could you come down here?" She had made a deal to trade her BMW in on a gently used 911 Targa... and the rest was history!

its better than the call i got from my wife the day before thanksgiving with the police and ambulance in the background. she wrecked the mercedes.
anybody got a front hood and bumber (white) for a 2000 E320? (she was OK, just small damage.) whats even worse is we went on vacation about 2 months ago for 2 weeks and she was late on paying the insurance......need i say more. we never got a notice that it was cancalled. the only damage to the other car was a bent tailpipe. with her record, i new i should have started looking for "the wife repair kit" when we got it. BTW, 8-10 years or so of owning the 911 and she has NEVER driven it. and not because i will not let her.

At least you get a phone call!!
I get home and the 911 is plain GONE, while her truck's still there. It's all good though. She really doesn't drive it that often, so now and then on a really nice day and the 911 all cleaned up, I encourage her to take it and enjoy it. Heck, if it wasn't for her in the first place I wouldn't have a 911. So, yes, I will at times come home only to find the 911 gone; I just smile inside.

To me, the hottest thoughts I could ever have about my GF at the time was her a$$ in the drivers seat, her left leg pushing that stiff clutch pedal working her way to the onramp, and the wide-eyed smile when that other foot had the accellerator nailed on the freeway home.
I loved it when she asked if she could take my car to work.... |
