Crank up some Creedence in there, Wayne... that'll give it a proper christening. :)
Yeah, but does the volume knob go to '12'?
Now we're talkin'...just don't listen to Ian when he shows up :). Bose 901s and gobs of power were "party speakers" from my youth...cool!
Like. :)
Hey Wayne, can ya post some pics (and turn it up so we can hear it over here)?
Gotta have tunes in the shop !
Please post pics and for those of us half way across the country, please post pics of the open house too.
Thanx |

Mission accomplished! I agree on the CCR. :)
What a great item to have on the bucket lust.
Sounds satisfying!
If you move to live music consider following the tastes of Ken Grossman. It helps to have an unlimited budget. Sierra Nevada Big Room Specifications I checked the Watts: Subs - 2050x2 channels, Mids-1400x2 channels, Highs-400x4 channels = About 9500 watts total for 200 people to enjoy. The monitor board beside the stage is 12 ft long. The FOH (front of house) board is huge. Then there is the lighting equipment...... Oh - and Beer! Yes Wayne - We need pictures! |
So how did "Owner Of A Lonely Heart" sound cranked up?
Throw on 10cc "Dreadlock Holiday". That's some great sound engineering..
Great cars!!!
I'll bring some 2Pac to test it all out :)
Okay - now that I've seen the requested pictures - I'm worried about the cars! A very nice ambiance - don't hurt them!
If you can max the system to Time, by Floyd and it stays together you will know it is bullet proof, although with Bose speakers you won't get all the highs that song has in it.
Nice little empire Wayne, congratulations.
Just as a warning, breakout your iPhone Decibel Meter app & test the sound pressure levels. Bear in mind that anything about 85 dB can damage your hearing. You can zap it louder on occasion but never for extended periods of time. fwiw
