Whats the best way to browse web on my plasma?

So I am in the market for a 50-55" TV. I would like to be able to surf the web on the screen. I have tried on the Wii and its basically impossible. Should I just purchase a cheap intel desktop and hook that up? Is there a machine other than a PC can help me surf? I guess netflix, blockbuster, and hulu are also in the mix too. Budget is kinda important. The cheap intel desktop could be something like the below but I don't know if the video card would be up to snuff:

Do you currently have a laptop with HDMI output?...If so, that and a cheap bluetooth keyboard/mouse and you are set.

Have a look at the logitech revue with Google TV. It'll do everything you're asking and more for $100.

Apple TV, then get it jailbroken with FireCore (firecore.com). They have a web browser that is quite good.
