Two silent killers.....

For of those of u that dont have yearly medicals/physicals, you might consider spending a small investment in time to do so. The amazing advances in medicine and pharmacy have for me personally helped me to stay healthier. One I was diagnosed with high blood pressure 5 year s ago and now take pills for that. This reduces the chance of heart attacks and strokes. Also blood work analysis now is very sophisticated and can give an indication way ahead if you are developing prostate cancer. For those of you youngsters that are full of p..s and vinegar and think that it will never happen to me , think again, time may catch up to u. My one grandfather only saw a doctor once in his life, that is when he fell off a ladder picking apples age 80 and broke his arm. He died aged 84 in his sleep. My other grandfather who I never met died age 45 from a heart attack. You have choices. Make sure it is a good one.SmileWavy:)

I get to do it every year due to my work, but totally agree with doing them.

I do Annual Physicals as a sideline to my Coronary Care job. I'm still amazed at what I pick up in middle aged men who "have never been sick a day in my life Doc". Heart disease, high blood pressure, melanoma, diabetes, lupus, prostate cancer, even a case of testicular cancer. If you get a chance to do a Annual Physical take it.

My wife told me to get an annual physical back when I started a new jub because it was free and easy. I was just 32. They found a pre-cancer condition that if I had not had the exam I wouldn't be posting this now.

starting this year you will be able to get an annual physical for free as a result of the Affordable Care Act
