Somewhere. Somewhere around my place there must be about 10 tape measures hiding from me.

Fisher pens spent 1 mil to make a space pen. No contract, they just did it.

Wonder how many are 'Lost in Space'?

A guy that did lots general framing and electrical for me was very fast and efficient. He made about 250 bucks a day. The down fall with him is that I will find screw drivers and pliers in the attic or the basement at the end of the day for sure. I had a guy follow after him near the end of the day just to pick up his crap. He was running out to buy a new hand tool during lunch every few days. I some times picked up his tab. Still he was cheap and can run circles around most. He was fast. Once he and two other guys rough-in the electrical for a 2800sq' house in two full days. I really wish he would stay with us.

As disorganized as my garage can get, I don't lose many, if any tools.

On the flipside, I haven't seen my wedding ring in four f'n years.

Guitar stands. In my lifetime I have lost dozens of them I swear.

Trust me.....in a few years....NO ONE will care.

All of the above... Seriously. We have a large shop, and tend to work in stuff in the drive too.

Not to mention being out on jobs beside the highway in tall grass. There are very few things that we require name brands for. We try to outfit the trucks with pawnshop wrenches, ratchets, and sockets.

Found tools are a problem for me!
If I find a tool, I am guaranteed to lose one of my own.
Usually it isn't an even trade.

You can't toss the one that is missing through the drywall. I know, I just pick up the hammer. It does the most damage.

I started with a worm drive saw before carbide blades. I'd put a new one in and hit a nail, just kiss it, but that was game over. The blade would crab left or right, depending. I don't know how many blades there are stuck in a roof somewhere in Orange County.

Loosing tools? Yeah, a lawn can swallow a lot of stuff.

3/8 and 7/16 wrenches here. If I need a 3/8 the drawer will be full of 7/16, a day or two later I need a 7/16 and they will have all changed into 3/8. My shop feels like that Amityville house sometimes.

I thought that once I got inside a garage I would never lose crap again. I still blame it on my brother.
