College news
I updated my blog, but for those who did not see it, here goes.
After my second semester, I am still maintaining a 4.0 GPA. I am also honored and humbled to be elected as the SGA president and really pleased when I found out there was a scholarship attached to it. I have still not caught up on all the updates from my second semester, but hope to soon.

A great GPA will open a lot of doors if you will be looking for a job. Of course, you could go self-employed right away. There are enough gun-enthusiasts on PPOT alone to keep you busy!

Thanks everyone!
aigel, I used to be an electronics technician when I still lived in South Africa. When I moved here, I worked more on the installation side of an access control company before switching to sales and technical training for a company that manufactured breathalyzers. And yes, I am soon going to start my first project for a Pelican. Wilhelm, my major is gunsmithing. I am studying at one of the best schools in the country that offer such a course.

But, I think you should take harder courses, or more of them. Bring that perfect GPA down just a bit, then explain why it dropped a tad over time in your application letter for grad. school, a prof. school, or a job -- you need big challenges to be happy. |
