Barkley Returning to USC...

My prognostication: USC pre-season #1

Although - I am not sure how he throws the ball if this picture, posted by Yahoo, is accurate.

Wow. I'm just a little bit surprised.

Fight on.

Good for him! Now here's hoping that (1) he doesn't get injured and (2) he has an awesome Senior year.

Smart guy!

USC is bowl eligible next year. Probably a factor in his decision. I feel no pity for the arrogant duckies...

Kudos to him. It's always great to see a player show loyalty to his teammates and school vs chasing the money.

like some people say, be careful what you wish for, next year the USC team will have experience, those freshmen will have put on weight and skills. They will be hungry for some respect, and maybe a Heisman mention, I don't care what the BCS says, I just want them to play in the Rose Bowl, on January 1st like it should be, used to be, THE REAL ROSE BOWL

I'd bet his decision has something to do with the fact that the Vikings are playing for draft picks right now and they need another quarterback. I'd do another year playing college ball in sunny California versus risking being drafted by the Vi-Queens too.

LSU loses a QB but replaces them with an even better QB. The rest of the team is back. I'll take the Tigers over USC no matter where they are ranked.

You're assuming of course that the entire LSU team doesn't get busted for parole violations in the off-season, again ... ;)

It was a curfew violation, lol. Big difference.

BTW, only reason Barkley is coming back is that the NFL labor negotiations and salary changes mean he'd get a cut in pay by leaving USC.
