All the photos taken at the shoe sale will be considered racial profiling by the left wing loonies.

The news showed it last night. Small kids run over like dirt, nobody helping them up. Are we sure it was for shoes and not some govt' free cheese givaway. Video 'splanes everything.

When I switched from Private School to public school in High School and played basketball, my 1st away game at an urban school the coach warned us to all stay together and our shoes close as "they" would steal them from us, at first I thought he was joking... This isn't a new thing either, but I guess it is a Black Thing, so most of us won't get it:rolleyes:

A jury has begun deliberating whether to pass death sentences on two men convicted of killing a 15-year-old after they stole his $90 Air Jordan athletic shoes.

Deliberations were suspended at 3 P.M. on Friday after the judge, Ricardo C. Jackson, fell ill. The jury, which had begun deliberating only 30 minutes earlier, is scheduled to resume its work Monday morning.

On Thursday, Kenyatte Miles, 20 years old, and Michael Henry, 18, were convicted of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, two counts of robbery and other related offenses.

A third man, Andre Kinard, 18, was convicted of second-degree murder, conspiracy and two counts of robbery but was acquitted of aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime. His charges were less serious because he did not wield a gun. New Athletic Shoes

Judge Jackson sentenced Mr. Kinard to life in prison for his murder conviction and deferred sentencing on the other charges until Sept. 9.

Unfortunately this is a black thing, and it's something that everyone in the black community should be acutely aware of and work to change.

Do white folks rob and steal, sure of course they do. I cannot seem to find one particular item that "white folks" go haywire over. Rather than roll my eyes and say things like "these dumb negroes are so stupid to be like this over a pair of shoes", I kind of wonder how we can get these kids to shift their focus from shoes, and in the past spinning rims, or whatever to something that can be used for something that will help them with opportunity like yes, an iPad....something that is fun and can teach!

It is a bad and very focused thing that the black community should contact Jesse and Al to campaign for to change from things to future.

While a difficult and painful thing to admit, any segment should be able to look at the things that really are dumb and work to enable positive change.

Hey, I'll take someone out for an original retro pair of John McEnroe tennis shoes...NOT! its not that the whites don't commit stupid crimes, just no where near the ratios of some other race... Tim.

Nike seems to have done a fine job of marketing its product to that segment of society.

This thread reminded me that I had a vintage pair from my b-ball days (before I trashed my knee a couple of times) that I figured some kid might like to have (pratically new back in '87). Dry rot...the sole virtually disentigrated on me when I drug 'em out of the back of a closet...oh well :(
