Fellow iPad users, which apps are your favorites?
I like Noteshelf for handwriting and note taking. PDF Reader lite is really good and the price is right. Calculator Plus is an excellent scientific calc. I'm looking for an app though for editing and creating MS Word, Excel and PPTs. Which app do you use for that?

Zinio - magazine app. Often sends out Zinio bucks free to redeem on whatever.
|
The iWork set of apps are the best imitators of MS Office. They are $9..99 each at the iStore.
|
TuneIn radio app is my favorite. I also like Sticher radio
PBS app is great as is NBC's app, for full length programs |
Kindle: I pretty much buy all new books to read on the iPad now.
EVO magazine: one of the best magazine/app conversions out there. I like reading about a car and being able to see a 360* view of the interior. Splashtop: VNC app that lets me access my home pc and all it's files remotely Atomic Web Browser: much better than Safari, even in iOS5 Netflix: streaming service works great, and much cheaper way to watch shows if you don't have to see the latest content immediately RAGE:HD - mutant zombie killing game. |
Kayak HD...
Used it to book us a motel on dads 3g... We were crawling along I40 in a snowstorm, I knew we would make the next town, and I made damn sure we would have a motel room when we got there! |
iRealB
ForScore talkbass surfline |
Timely thread, I was going to post asking about an MSOffice app. My favorites:
ESPN Scorecenter Zombie Gunship Weather Channel Craigspro - awesome Craigslist app Netflix Urban Spoon Simply Noise - great for sleeping in quiet hotel rooms |
Heavily use:
WSJ Netflix Evernote Toodledo Apple Remote Mocha RDP lite (remote connect to office computers) Dropbox Kindle In terms of fun, gorgeously-designed apps that aren't everyday things for me: 500px (photography) Skysafari (astronomy) Procreate (drawing/painting) Garageband (music - son uses quite a bit) Animoog (music - son uses quite a bit) |
I second Zinio (free) for magazine subscriptions and Atomic Web Browser (free) for web browsing. One of the great things about Atomic is that you can mostly hide the bar at the top of the webpage and then use 6 buttons across the bottom (where your thumbs are when you're holding the ipad) for things like forward, back, bookmarks, etc....

Zinio is cool.
I also like Zite. It allows you to enter preferences snd then it will create a personalized web magazine based on those settings. I think its similar to flipboard. |

What are you all using for photos? I want something I can upload photos to like I do on my PC. I have a photo on this thing I want to upload and share on a forum for one.
|
Flipboard. Great news/content aggregator.
|
+1 on Dropbox. Super cool app for sharing docs between my iPad and PC laptop.
|
I like Christophorus and Porsche pad cinema. +1 on the weather channel...
