A little bit...my ex-gf went a little crazy towards the end

Old Spice.

Not kidding.

Wife digs it.

MT930 12-26-2011 06:34 PM

Negative now, maybe 20 Years ago but only a small amount.

syncroid 12-26-2011 06:51 PM

I wear none what so ever... unless my wife bought it for me. In that case, I ONLY wear it for very special occasions. I've never gone through an entire bottle of cologne. It spoils and I wait for the next scent my wife likes...on me. Schwinggg!

These positive sayings about cologne for men seem to be from 20 somethings who are still under the program that has been dictated to them. When they mature they will understand. And to the women who like a man to smell....well...like a woman....sorry about that.

Not since high school. However; my daughter was the local "Axe girl" and travelled around the state making appearances (sometimes even at Walmarts out in the rural areas). It made her a few bucks between coaching cheerleading camps and grad school. She was amazed at how many young guys would buy some and soak themselves with it and then expect to be irresistable. She personally did not like the smell and was repulsed by those that bathed in it...especially when they thought that was enough equalizer for a 3-4 to get a date with a 9-10. She said maybe a little better dental hygiene would have been a better use for their money if they wanted to impress women.

I wear it lightly. If your 1 foot away from me you might start smelling it.

Allure by Chanel

Jean Paul Gautier - Le Male

Perry Ellis 360

And yes....I clean my fingernails after being being buried in grease and I manscape my business.

"Wise beyond your years" could mean the wisdom of a 21 year old ya know :)

I haven't worn cologne in a really long time. I still have a half bottle of Gendarme from a decade ago.

Makes the tree look taller once the bushes have been cut?

My wife purchases me a new cologne about every 3 years. I have 1-2 on the MBR counter. I don't hate the stuff...but I only wear it when we go out. I shower every morning...nights too when I hit the gym. I don't really need cologne...I guess.

Now, on the other end of the scale:

Cologne + funk (BO) is possibly the worst smell in the world.

Ya, I know that's what the original use is BTW.

Haven't used any in over a half century. My wife doesn't use anything either. I like her natural scent.

livi 12-26-2011 10:41 PM

Not ever.

BlueSkyJaunte 12-26-2011 10:54 PM

Ew. Not just "no."

HELL, no!

Besides, my natural pheromones drive the babes wild.

wdfifteen 12-27-2011 02:08 AM

Just can't do it, and I don't like being around people who have much of it on either. After I quit smoking I became very sensitive to aromas and I find even mild amounts of cologne really annoying. A smoker wearing cologne is the worst.

VINMAN 12-27-2011 05:02 AM

Hai Karate and Brut.

I usually only use it when im going out to some fancy affair, ( wedding, dinner etc..) I use Bora Bora, or Davidoff Cool Water.

Every once in a while i'll slap on some Bay Rum

mossguy 12-27-2011 05:04 AM

I used to use St. John's Bay Rum until I stopped shaving in August.

Porsche-O-Phile 12-27-2011 05:40 AM

Nope. Haven't used it since High School.

Try bathing/showering occasionally and using a good deodorant (and just following generally good hygene practices) instead!
