even more bass porn

My budget is a little (!) hammered, but it'll recover. I'll be selling my recent Fodera to help. This one will come home with me Sunday the 22nd after showing off in the Fodera booth at NAMM.

Yeah, it doesn't really get any better than this. Chambered walnut body (only Yin Yang Deluxe they've built that way), flamed pau amarillo and ebony top. 3-piece maple neck with dovetail joint and ebony fingerboard. Due to a variety of circumstances I ended up with four basses showing up within a month of each other. Two of them were ordered over a year ago, another four months ago, and this one kinda fell in my lap. I would say a waste of money but I did 140 gigs in 2011 so at least I'm using my toys...

Sweet. I really like things that don't look like all the other ones in the same category. Except the Aztec...

That's purdee! Todd, you remind me of a local drummer amigo...he's got vintage drum kits stacked wall-to-wall and in every nook around his place (stored properly, so not playable). It's literally his way of saving (investing) as it's "what he knows"...I shudder to think what a fire would cost him...I mean, he's a "drummer" after all . I keed of course, but I doubt seriously if his collection is covered by ins. He jokes: Here kid, here's your inheritance...
