Anyone know anything about F-150 repair costs?
Original post: I'm getting some work done on my 2000 F-150 4x4 . I'm getting new shocks put on. The control arm bushings are cracked and degraded badly. I'm taking it to a local garage to have them take a look at it. The guy made it sound like replacing the bushing was major work. It doesn't look like major work to me, am I missing something? All the bolts are easily accessible. Any idea what it should cost for upper/lower control arm bushings on both sides?

I did all of mine, but it was a 2001 F150 SuperCrew 2 wheel drive. It wasn't bad and I did it all in the driveway one day. Orielly and Advance loan the tools needed.
