Your potential employer should understand if you have scheduled plans. It is not a big deal to them and shouldn't effect you being offered the position of employment. Congrats on tying the knot. |

I'd go ahead and tell them next time you talk to them. I've changed jobs a few times and said "hey, I've got X planned for next month or this summer or whatever" in the interview or when they said I had the job. It shouldn't be a problem. Most folks understand that we all have lives. Most bosses that I've had are willing to work with you even if the HR dept doesn't accrue vaca fast enough. The only time it would be a problem is if you were going to work at a restaurant as a waiter or a fast food place or someplace like that.

How much vacation do you have at your current job. I have never taken a new job if I couldn't negotiate the same or more amount of vacation.
