Run as fast as possible from it
. Spent your money making your Porsche, better, faster or ???? But a TC is a "large black hole" that you can't see the bottom of; which if you fall into we will know hear your voice once you hit the bottom of that money pit!art |

they were actually decent cars.. say what you want about it, but GM or Ford didnt exactly have 'great cars' in this year period either. It is basically a LeBaron with a Maserati styling/interior. The Turbo motor was a very good motor and the mitsu v6 is a great motor.
That being said, you could a LeBaron for next to nothing, but of course, those are a dime a dozen. |

If I recall correctly, the automatic versions were pure Chrysler powertrain, but the manual versions had some Maserati involvement. I don't care enough to double check the facts, but that's what I remember from articles back in the day. Either way, they will be never be more than a curiosity or oddity, so preserving a flawless example is the only way to "collect" one. And they're worth less than the intake manifold on a spilt-window Corvette, so why not?

2 variations of motors. 1. Being a 2.2 sohc Chrysler turbo motor which most had and the other a 2.2 chrysler block (possible turbo)with a maserati dohc cylinder head(which are the rare breed). The car itself is IMO less than desirable.

It isn't the car that catches my eye...

It was actually not the worst car ever made. And that's the nicest thing I can think of to say. You could own one, but why?

That rack would look good on the hood of a Gremlin. Not a fair representation, IMO.
