Digital Photo help?
I figured out how to capture a picture off youtube but the source isn't that great. The people in the fore ground are kind of blurry and the subject in the background is a dark blob (in the video he's a lot more recognisable). I don't have photoshop or any other program on here (not that I'm much good with it anyways) to try and sharpen up the images.
What would the experts recommend for softwear to clean up the picture? I'd like to get a decent image and print a copy to send to my buddy who's the blob in the back. :) http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1325897943.jpg |
Post the video & the timing & see what the brethren here can do to help.
Ian It's obviously Queen . . . |

You can enhance/accentuate the data that is there but there is nothing that puts back what never existed to begin with regardless of what you may have been led to believe by CSI.
There's just not enough data to do much with. As we say, garbage in/garbage out. |
I can only agree. The video is only 240p. And it is probably a conversion from a video tape. Try to find a higher res version if you can.

Here's best I could do quick and dirty... I can get less pixelation if I go a smaller size, but then you won't be able to see as clearly... |

I know this doesn't really help, but there are everal frames there to be captured. Here's one from 3:39 that shows a better, albeit still blurry, shot of your friend in the background.

Yep, not much (able) to be done with that footage. My attempt:

Thanks guys :)
I going to order the DVD off Amazon. Which I would assume that it would be a better copy to sourse from. We went to school together for 8 years. When he turned 18 he sold everything he owned and went to London to be a rock and roll star. He got a job working for a PA rental firm (bands couldn't afford their own) he'd go set up, tear down and run the sound board thru the shows for various "names". He hooked up with Queen and traveled the world with them till Freddys death. He has production credits on several of their albums. |
