Hence why I said superior in just about every way durability it is bar none superior. Tone is so subjective and first and foremost I'm not an acoustic guy as I play 99% on my electrics but from what I've heard they have bright and clear sound some would call a very harsh timbre but I like it. The only acoustic I have was my dads which is by default mine now. I also like that because of the strength provided by cf you can have a hollow neck without a truss rod and use the cavity inside the neck for additional space in the sound cavity for that bone crushing volume that you'd expect out of a bigger dreadnaught.
Yeah dude for sure going to be careful about it. Most of the excess is going to be cut off with razor blade and most of the sanding will be on resin not on the cf/kevlar
