I'm going to guess he doesn't have health insurance
. I see he has a small bag hanging from his neck, I'm assuming it contains anti-venom and a copy of his will Even Mike Rowe would turn down this dirty job

Not once did I see him turn to check his back and who the heck picks up a Cobra that nonchalantly when it's flaring its head like that. Crazy!!!!

I love how he just tosses them, like they're not even alive. He's got no protective gear. When one of them feinted a strike, he didn't even flinch, he just stared it down. Wow.

That takes some skill. He's probably been handling snakes most of his life.He seems very relaxed but believe me he knows exactly what he's doing and what the snakes are doing. Does anybody know? Do they feed them chicken eggs?

I went to a reptile zoo in Luray, VA many years ago where I got talking with the owner/curator about how he cleans the cages. He only had venomous snakes - black mamba, green, mamba, russell's viper, cobra, gaboon viper, you name it. Not the kind of snakes anyone in the US is likely to carry anti-venoms for. He said if he ever tagged, he'd have to get medevac'ed to Johns Hopkins. I tried not to laugh, but I doubt he'd live long enough for the chopper to arrive.

I suspect their venom sacks have been removed. My understanding is that the street snake charmers you see in India and other parts of the world do the same thing.

That's true but not in all cases. Even with their venom sacks removed they can still give you a very nasty bacteria rich bite... Not a good thing in the tropics.

No - that's the way they do it.
I lived in Lopburi Thailand back in 1964-1966 - My Father was the US Army advisor to DET VII JUSMAG Thailand - he advised the Thai Airborne school, Infantry Center and Thai Special Forces camp at Camp Pow-wai - . Camp Pow-wai had a snake farm - pits with cobras, banded krait [2-step krait] and pit/russels vipers. we /family > fathe took the family accompaniedd tour "upcountry" we would go out to Pow-wai and watch them feed the snakes - handle the snakes..[not us - but the Thai SF] cobras were fairly docile.. banded kraits were like teddy bears in daylight... the vipers though > they demandedd total respect > always coiled always waiting to strike..
