Thumbs up In Tucson today and tomorrow

Morning felliw Pelucans. The fiancee and I are in Tucson today & tomorrow if any fellow pelicans would like to meet up. We're out here to visit my brother who just had a kid, but they cant (or wont) go out or be able to do much.

Oh, fun stoey too. I make my reservation at one hotel last night over the phone. We arrive and they didn't reserve my room. Great. We went to a nearby hotel that was comparable, but have competent staff. I've still gotta call and complain at the other place.

If you're into Mexican food, go to El Molinito. They have three locations in Tucson. They're awesome.

Cafe Poca Cosa, which is downtown, IS the best Mexican restaurant (as well as being one of the best restaurants, period) in Tucson. The Arizona-Sonara Desert museum, over the hill on the west side is really fun, too. It is about 20 minutes from downtown. Wineries in Sonoita. Biosphere going up Oracle way is OK, too. Have fun.

Hello Brando. I sold my 911 last July and have been Porscheless ever since. I still look at the Pelican forum but don't post anymore until tonight. I live in Tucson and am 3 miles North of where you are staying. I have a stock Carrera decklid that needs stripping and repaint. It would be a great candidate for a tail. Also, I have a very nice black center console. If you want them, you can have them for free. I no longer have a use for them and would like to pass them along. PM me for my phone # if you are interested.
Robert

Looks like we're heading back early everyone... We're coming back in february though. We may stop for dinner around 4 or 5, but will be closer to stateline. Plans change with kids being involved...
