i met Lowyder993!
one hell of a guy! he showed up in the middle of the desert and met myself, my brother and a few of my closest hunting buddies. my hunting partners were all asking, "who is this guy? is he an ass?"..my response of, "dunno..never met him" didnt calm any fears of letting a total ass into the inner circle. hehe.
well, turn out that Jim is fun as hell! one of the greatest story tellers and he seemed to always "have the floor" around the campfire. he had the group laughing and acting like we were all old friends. the man is not a small guy, but he eats like a bird. we wondered if he had a secret stash of protein bars hidden somewhere because he would eat a tiny bit of food and hike the hills with the rest of us. to this day, i dont know what fueled his fire. i ate like a starved man. in the end, the deer were all safe..annoyed but safe. we as a group were pretty harmless with archery equipment. the trip was so hard, one SWAT guy bailed after 1.5 days. it was great making a new friend. Jim..we are thinking of flying to tuscon for another run at them, end of the month. 9-days was not enough. but i lost 8 lbs. btw, i saw that knife he won. it was amazingly sharp. sharpest knife i ever felt..not super smooth sharp.. but this micro jagged sharp..gave me goosebumps.

Hey, I apologized and if you recall I sprung for bail for both of us.

Here's a story about Jim: waaaayyyyy back when I had a 914 race car, I stopped at a Carls Jr. off the 14 in Rosamond on the way to Willow. I saw this Wonder Bread looking 911 on a trailer in the parking lot. So, I goes in to sees if I can get a cup and figure out who inside is the driver of the polka dot car.
Didn't take but one glance. I walked over, sat down and introduced myself. Right then and there I knew I was in the company of a gentleman and a professional. Unfortunately, I think that's the only time we've met even though I've been at races where he's run. |

I had the privilege of being Jim's Christmas exchange partner. He really gave me the better end of the deal. If he eats like a bird away from home it's because he eats like a king at home with the fantastic authentic handmade tamales he sent me. He also sent some real Mexican Christmas beer that certainly filled my holiday with a bit more cheer. An outstanding guy all the way around.

Thx Cliff...the pleasure was all mine!
As I said, my wife always asks "why is everyone you hunt w/ a wuss?" Came back and told her I found nirvana. You and your bro are hunting fools. You 2 put my dik in the dirt. Jack (Cliff's friend)was an absolute riot (hope there are still some arrows left in his quiver). Oh, and don't let Cliff fool you w/ the cooking questions schit on this board. Man can cook over open flame!!! I was thinking about shooting out this weekend in 36B. You and Jack need to come down for turkey in a couple months. I'm putting in for elk if you wanna ride my preference points (3). Oh, MRM you'd be surprised how well Cliff and his brother took to the Noche Buenas I brought to camp. (Acutaully found them at a grocery store near my house, instead of having my employees bring them across the border 3 at a time!!!)
