To me the point is you get pointed in the right direction from Wikipedia, consult other sources, and then cite those rather than Wikipedia. At least, that's how I use it.

If somebody is citing straight from Wikipedia it seems like they haven't consulted other sources.

Someone has to stand up to the greed.

I agree with the post above mentioning the coming end of brick and mortar higher education solutions. We must learn to teach ourselves. But many cannot do that, so the physical schools will linger on somehow.
