The Crumb family lived down the street from me when I was growing up in Delaware in the very early 1960s and the youngest of the brothers, Max and I built and flew model airplanes for several years until they moved which seemed to happen frequently. All the guys had this really wild art talent and for several years the Milford DE high school year books had a lot of art work done by both Robert and Max.
Mr Natural was the center of our reactor division patch when I was on the Enterprise in 1969 and held electrons in one hand and a swab in the other....... The saying "Holyker****o Batman the reactor scrammed" was around the edges. |

I think it was in one issue of Zap Comix that Mr Natural sponsored an A** kicking contest. His best quote, one that I subscribe to, was "kicking a** is hard work!"

ZAP comics....yes I still have 2 of them (the magazines) from my years in Gatorville (Gainesville).

There was a Army based one called "Dopin' Dan" some of it taking place in Vietnam. Those used to be floating around the barracks for awhile in the 70's.

Paul, nope...no collectors and I know they are taking up valuable space so feel free to box them up and ship them to me. I will even spilt the cost of shipping them. Oh heck, I guess I could at least pay for shipping...
