What is the #1 Cooking Utensil you use that you stole ("repurposed") from the garage?

Not stolen, actually...a rubber Mallett...Cindy uses it for tenderizing chicken breasts...she saw me using mine one day, asked if I could buy another. Swears it works better than the made for kitchen tool that has diamond shaped points on it's face.

for me it is wood rasp most often; tho the propane torch is the most... ah... "mission-critical"


now, did you really buy her one, or just give her your old one...?

LOL! Actually, thinking about it, I may have given her the old one, then bought another. If I did, you can bet it was cleaned up well before the pounding began..

welding gloves for the turkey fryer

I have a glass-top electric stove. Don't start, It's what came with the house. It took me a while to suss out correct temperatures. In fact, I'm still sussing.)

My wife started snagging my nitrile gloves from the garage after she found out the hard way that she had residual jalepeno on her fingers... while taking out her contact lenses.
