New 911 test drive program maybe...
 

I am not sure what's going on in south orange county. Twice in the last week I have seen a caravan of new 911's heading east over the ortega highway (74). 10-12 cars.

Pretty cool, I'd like to figure out who is setting it up and join for day.

Any idea's out there?

They are having a "ride and drive" for journalists, dealers, and invited public. A few friends of mine have been participating

They're doing controlled-course performance driving at El Toro then taking a long two hour drive throught the mountains up Ortega.

Porsche brought 69 of the new 911S models, plus some 997s and a bunch of competitors for comparison.

I wish I could have gone

They are building a new driving center somewhere in SoCal. Can't wait.
