Some people are blinded by the bling. A friend has a Thermador double oven setup, one of which needs repair with NLA parts. However, his wife insisted on a new double oven, same brand, but the new versions are slightly wider necessitating moving a wall to accommodate the increased width. They could have avoided that expense by going to high-end brand B that fit in the existing space.
BTW, according to some reports, some Viking products are crap. I understand Consumer Reports rejected even testing one model stove because it presented a fire hazard.
Viking MWs are manufactured by Sharp, so you're probably good to go there if you have a budget and need the logo.
