Battery Leakage?

I can't recall the last time I had an alkaline battery leak, but sure enough, I took the batteries out of my "family radio" handhelds and I had an Energize in each leak a bit.

I recall when I was a kid, I was pretty good with the sandpaper, but I haven't really had a problem with big name battery in years. Hell, even those off brand ones that come with TV remotes have held up pretty good.

Weird.
