"has all the goodies"

Does anyone conisder buying anything advertised with this phrase? To me, it screams "I probably don't know what I'm talking about and I'm too lazy to figure and/or write it out."

pwd72s 01-27-2012 01:04 PM

"has all the goodies" works well describing some women.

I hate the term "clean" when it comes to describing cars.

What? If you wash your car before selling it, it's somehow better?

krystar 01-27-2012 01:20 PM

like buying a car "loaded" ?

HardDrive 01-27-2012 01:30 PM

I love photos of project cars that are $20K+ from going down the road, and it says, "I've done all the hard work, it just needs a few odds and ends!"

Yeah, like wiring....and an interior...and paint......

When a seller uses the term "tasteful upgrades," unvariably they are neither.

That's a term I usually use for women....actually I use that term far to often.

The air conditioning, works, just needs a charge.

pavulon 01-27-2012 04:38 PM

...and "rust free" on a car that's recently been "restored".

vash 01-27-2012 04:58 PM

Ran perfectly before we stored it.

jorian 01-27-2012 05:43 PM

"original miles" as opposed to say, unoriginal ones.

Also broken english ads:

needs replaced - really? what did you replace those needs with?
new breaks
top of the line Porche Chyenne

azasadny 01-27-2012 06:11 PM

"Only needs ________, which is easily fixed". If that was true, why didn't the seller fix it?

Aurel 01-27-2012 06:15 PM

Engine running perfectly, only needs a quarter of oil every 500 miles.

onlycafe 01-27-2012 06:50 PM

a real head turner.

pwd72s 01-27-2012 06:59 PM

"easily restored for concours" Means rust bucket as well as a mechanical nightmare.

crustychief 01-27-2012 09:05 PM
