Two old Shot spoons
I'm just found these old shot spoons in a garage dive and now they are on their way to Dave.
I hope this leads to a new Dave's got game thread. He did miracles with my Parker barrels. L.C. Nice spoons! I can't wait to see what David does with them!

Subscribed. I need to get some pictures up of my work this semester as well.

Well I can't wait myself! That LC may not be returned. I'm going to start on Shauns gun today, and these will be here next week so the timing is good. Thanks Henry!

Henry,
Is the second piece up in the first pic a pump action .22 missing the fore stock? It looks similar to one I had until a house fire in '77. Sweet little rifle at one time but all worn out by the time it was given to me. Best Les |
The LC has the Miller ST...what is the SN..and is it an AE .if it were a 0 grade..me no touchy, me leave alone..OR I go FULL BORE and UPGRADE to a higher grade.
The Clabrugh I am not familar wid??? |
Take yer meds Tabs and try again...could it be a hunter one trigger?
J.P. Clabrough & Bros.......English best, or a Belgian klunker ...we will see when it arrives here. |

I bought an original on Ebay yesterday for $22 with shipping. This one has been leaning against a shelf in a cluttered garage since the mid 80s. |
Dave has the firearms and has passed sentence on them.
One, the J.P. Clabrough & Bros, has been pronounced DOA. With any luck it will find a new home where, through the miracle of modern technology, may offer life as a donor to a more deserving specimen. The LC Smith is another story. She is rough but with Dave at the helm, I feel confident that this little gem will raise for the dead with a sparkle of her youth. Stay tuned sports fans.SmileWavy I just hope this is not akin to giving a boob job to a 45 year old stripper. |
Well ...I never thought of that analogy but if that is the case I have performed many many boob jobs in the past. This is going to be a great project and we may even get Mr. Doug Turnbull (bow your head) involved as well for the re-casing of the action and side-plates. I can say it will be as good as it gets from my bench for sure.
Henry and I have discussed the English gun and have decided to donate it to Mericet and/or his gun smithing school. So Neil if you are out there give me a shout and a thanks to Henry. |
Wow! I do not know what to say!:D:D:D
Henry, thank you very much! Dave, I will give you a call tomorrow. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/boldblue.gif |
