A lb of ground, whats for dinner?

I have a lb of ground beef, its raining like hell and I have been drinking beer. I cant go to the store to re up the grocery list and all other meats are frozen or long cook items.
I have peppers, onions, a closet full of spices, tortillas, sourdough bread, tomato sauce. Plenty of condiments and bread crumbs.

Meatballs?

Meatloaf?

Patty Melt?

More beer?

I choose the latter and will check back to see if the brain trust has any suggestions.

You will need eggs for meatloaf or meat balls, as least the way I make them.

I decided on tacos, puffy style with fried corn tortillas. A south Texas meal fit for a drunken king.

I do have a front suspension rebuild in the next few weeks and would love some moral or immoral support in the reconstruction.

Wayne, I think those are corn tortillas which he fried in oil, then positioned on a rack to cool and harden.

sliders. mix meat with ground cayenne, ground (freshly ground preferred) cumin, salt, pepper. roll to 1/2" thickness. cut to slightly bigger than bun size. hawaiian sweet rolls make good slider sized buns. as do dinner rolls. high heat grill with grilled onions. 30 seconds a side.

simple ez and damn good!
