Let's go! I'm 2300 miles away, otherwise I'd be there. I am going there only once. To pick up this nightmare and inspect the facility.
What I would like to suggest is a hidden camera sting op. Like a Chris Hansen Dateline operation. Get a potential client to drive a nice running 911 to MM and document via hidden camera the conversation. Inquire about turn time, quality, potential cost overruns, worst case pricing if the engine is completely junk, and ask about the negative press all over the INTERNET. I have asked those questions via email and received email replies about all these topics. All of the MM replies from Jerry Marks would find him guilty of deceptive business practices, false advertising and fraud. We need to bury MM once and for all. |

I don't think conversation will work. Ray, I think his name is, can talk it up with the best of porscheholics-problem is... They're the worst kind of salesman-bait and switch all the way. The only way anyone is ever going to bring out the worst of them to the public is by ponying up the cash to pay for TWO MM rebuilds, undercover with the end result being a well publicized write up in a Porsche mag or some TV news special. Why two? You have to show that the end result of what they give folks is not isolated that it happens consistently-every conversation and contract would have to be documented. Anyone got the cash?

 Damn, would that make for some good programming. Wonder if good old Roy could smooth over Chris Hanson A few of us should go in, and open up a shop right across the street from them. Should make for a great business model. Go right to where there is the strongest concentration of broken down destitute Porsche cars are located. Would not even need a tow truck , we could just push them right across the street.

Does anyone actually think for even a minute that the douche that own MM isn't aware and monitoring the justified slander that occurs here? Nothing undercover about airing your plans on a public access internet site.
just sayin- I hope that there is indeed a secret OP being planned and that we all hear about it AFTER it gets planted into court so it can bring down the MM. |

what i don't get...anybody who rebuilds their own motors or has it done by somebody other than MM, why they would EVER paint the fan red. it looks tacky, plus, whenever i see a red-fanned 911, it's an instant "do not buy this car" sign.
