My dad had an amazing collection or mostly Chatillons in their old house before they had to downsize to move into their current one. That kitchen had rafters 10' high and every inch of them had scales and my mom's Longaberger baskets. My sister got the big lollipop scale. The only one I took was this one, which is a cool coffee table.

Not trying to hijack this, but I have an old bathroom scale my family used from the early '50s. It was super accurate. Years ago a GF picked it up using the platform you stand on. After that it hasn't been so accurate. Any advice on how/where/who I can go to get it fixed/reindexed or whatever it needs??

The scale's working fine Marv, you just aren't 165 any more :)

So that's the problem? That never occurred to me!

too much junk in the way to get a full picture but this is the top of my oldest scale. it's 4.5-5' tall and that arm is maybe 3'. the rod next to the post went to a glass incased dial attachment (long gone) lower down the post. cast iron/steel and weighs 150lbs+
