Anyone Know SIG716 Precision Marksman Rifle
 
Looking for a 7.62X51 / .308 autoloader Found this one.
I'm a sig pistol fan, but no experance with this rifle.
Any one have one? Your thoughts?

Hell, that's not badly priced either. 2199 USD for the Precision Marksman variant.

Might work as a backup plan if the import for the M1a falls through.

Does that mean that the bolt is pushed back by a rod as opposed to exhaust gas? Basically an AK design, yes?

As I understand it, the gas pushed the piston and the helps get the dirty exhaust gases out of the bolt area...
