Yayy! Baseball's next

I wonder how long the Football is over...Baseball is coming! :) thread will go with zero reads and zero replies. Are there any baseball fans left?

One, just me, I guess...But then, I'm not a basketball fan. BTW, by not clicking, you missed a nice pic.

When you live in Cards town, you never stop talking about baseball.

Already working on my Opening Day tics.

My Kids have never missed an Opening Day and won't as long as they can drag my butt down to the Stadium. It's the biggest holiday of the year in my house.

2012 will be #9 for my daughter and #6 for my son.

Go Cards!!

If ever a game needed a play clock it is baseball. When everyone stops to spit and scratch after every move a game takes forever.

Baseball is THE sport. Some folks understand that. Some folks don't.

How True! and I understand it.

Baseball needs to change the rules. If a pitcher starts an inning, he finishes it.

"Boring" is perhaps the most common complaint among those who don't understand baseball. When you think nothing is going on, you simply don't know what's happening. I'm not trying to insult here, just pointing out the difference between a baseball fan and someone who's not that much of a fan. Something is nearly always going on, even when you think nothing is happening. Managers are signaling to coaches and players, players are shifting their positions, hitters are making pitchers wait, pitchers are making hitters wait, managers are making pitchers wait while relievers warm up, on-deck hitters are being 'iced,' basemen are trying to distract base runners, and on and on. Baseball is the ultimate strategy game. Way more than the other sports.

Baseball is a strategy game, sure... not a sport.

Another strategy game few here understand...

To me, Baseball is still "The American game"...bring it on!

One of the reasons why Oregon State University has a national championship and the University of Oregon does not...;)

1972 (pretty sure) in St Louis. Saw Bob Gibson hit one of his two career grand slam home runs against the Mets and saw Willie Mays play right field at the end of the second game of the double header. It was a good day.

I certainly am a fan and ready for baseball.
Cooked brats for the Super Bowl, and told my dad, you smell that, smells like baseball season is near.
(Those who tailgate understand.)
