The Man-Bug
Really???
R&T put it against Mini Cooper S. Achieved the expected outcome. |
What ?
|
I had a turbo beetle and liked it. It was fun to drive, and very practical. I also used to own a Boxster. Great for runs to the salon or the nail shop. :P
|
So they got rid of the flower pot?
|
Mrs. Z-man had a turbo Beetle - she had the "Uni-Red Color Concept" version. It was a slick little car. That little 1.8 turbo motor sure could scoot. It was a very safe car as well.
I suspect that the new turbo is more powerful, although I also suspect that the new "Man Bug" is also a bit heavier than the first gen New Beetle. And yes, I sometimes drove Mrs. Z's car - flowers and all. Even autocrossed it at a BMW event once - flowers and all. Yes, I am in touch with my feminine side, thankyouverymuch. -Z-man. |

My wife has the new bug stuck in her head... I fear one of these is in my future.
Many bills to pay off before that happens. |
yetibone has a man bug, Jake Raby has one too, but it does not handle as well
|
Cooper S creamed it in every category as I recall.
