I wish I had this much skill.

World Of Mysteries: Guy built a Lamborghini in his basement

Amazing work- with that much talent I wish he would have made his own car not copied another brand

URY914 02-13-2012 11:42 AM

He made a copy of a car that originally looked a kit car.

redstrosekNic 02-13-2012 11:48 AM

That is amazing!

As a project go for it, but this was not a cheap project. Why wouldn't you spend a little extra and rent or build a garage????

azasadny 02-13-2012 04:34 PM

Unbelievable!

Now he can sell the Lambo to fix his house :p.

sc_rufctr 02-13-2012 05:31 PM

Now that's passion. It could so easily have become an ugly mess like so many home built specials.
The attention to detail is extraordinary. It would be very difficult to put a value on such a car...
Image if it had a Lamborghini engine and gearbox.

Seriously though, that's really cool. If I were to do a project like that it would be a kit plane and I'd probably never get half way done with it.

Here is what he can do with his Lambo now...

I bet he could have bought the real deal for less than that took to build from scratch.
But you can't put a price on the satisfaction of doing a job well

strupgolf 02-14-2012 02:49 PM

That is amazing. The tools, knowledge, money, to build that is beyond me. I get a kick out of fixing a heater core. That car looks great and I hope he finds relaxation in his new car.

GH85Carrera 02-14-2012 03:00 PM

I wonder how does he register it?

HardDrive 02-14-2012 03:08 PM

One of the handles on our our pressure cooker had come loose. I took it on with my trusty leatherman. I mean, its not a Lamborghini, but I've got skillz.
