Hot KR Mustang...southern Cal

Gotta admit, I'm tempted...these went for high $ when new..with additional dealer markups pushing 'em close to $100K. (edit) For those interested, rated at 540 horsepower.

Into Mustangs? Yeh, kinda.. Not many Shelby cars I'd want to swap my Bullitt for because they look garish with the stripes. But this black on black looks pretty damned good..almost understated...for a Shelby.

Nope. Had it crushed. Only cost me $250 to do so.

You overpaid. I would've only charged you $50 to push it off a cliff.

If I was going to spend $50K on a car it sure would not be a Mustang. Nice car and all of that, but there are a lot more interesting cars out there for that kind of cash.

Sorry Paul, but if you are going to spend that money you should just get the Boss.

And Kurt, as for interesting, if I put my red key in my Mustang there is no way to wipe my smile off my face for the rest of the day. The car is a blast.

I love that the guy bought an American car, furthermore I love that he is such an advocate of the brand. I've tried to like the car, I just can't get into any of the new American muscle cars, they seem ridiculous in their size and appearance.

I hope that our local manufacturers shrink their cars down and build more "tossable" cars. In the meantime, keep buying American.

Anybody else think that the dealer video voice-over sounded a bit weird? Like a computerized voicemail-type voice?

Ford Mustangs

I used to own a 911, but like Paul and others I got tired of the high cost of ownership. So I drive a Silver Stage 2 and never look back.

I like the GT500KR, $50k for a Mustang still seems like too much $, even for a nice, low mileage car. But what do I know?
